Next week in Victoria Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA) will hold a new event focusing on low and zero emission trucks. The new events is called TruckShowX and complements the world famous Brisbane Truck Show which is held every two years.
EVenergi, one of the companies at the forefront of fleet decarbonisation since 2016, will be exhibiting at TruckShowX in Victoria because they believe that transitioning heavy-duty vehicles in logistics fleets from combustion engines to electric and hydrogen alternatives is one of the most important and challenging components in Australia’s transition to zero-emissions.
While battery and charging technologies are rapidly advancing, many operators of light commercial and heavy vehicle fleets are still facing barriers with model availability, operating range, charging speeds, and electrical infrastructure installation.
Steve Lewis, Managing Partner at Evenergi told Fleet EV News that events such as TruckShowX are extremely important to bring together customers and solution providers to help collectively understand, discuss and collaborate on these barriers.
It’s a forum that helps vehicle operators understand what is out there, what’s coming soon, and find out for themselves how suitable different EVs are for their businesses. It also allows suppliers and advisors like EVenergi to better understand the desires and challenges of fleets to help create the best possible solutions to resolve them.
“The logistics and heavy vehicle sector is such an important and challenging part of the transport industry for us to tackle in regards to emissions, which is just one of the reasons I’m looking forward to TruckShowX,” said Lewis.
“Events such as this infuse energy into the industry, bringing together pioneers, fleet owners, and solution providers to solve problems and make change.”
“We’re honoured to be supporting TruckShowX and exhibiting on the show floor where we will demonstrate what a fleet manager can do with advanced fleet and depot modelling tools, how they can plan what to transition when, and identify the optimum charging solution to work in the real and dynamic world of a commercial fleet.”
With an exclusive focus on helping complex fleets electrify, EVenergi have helped other major clients navigate the unknowns of fleet electrification and are looking forward to supporting the logistics sector as it follows a similar trajectory.
Steve Lewis and James Gard will be onsite to answer any questions to assist your fleet transition.
