A year after telling Fleet EV News it was ready to target fleets, EVDirect (the distributor of BYD vehicles in Australia) has released fleet pricing on the entire range for organisations that register for the BYD fleet program. The new fleet discounts will also apply to the BYD Shark PHEV utility when launched later this month.
“This innovative program not only reduces upfront costs and total cost of ownership but empowers both business and government to faster make the transition to new energy technology, significantly reducing their carbon footprint,” BYD Fleet CEO Boyd Stidwill said in the announcement.
The pricing varies by fleet size with smaller fleets (20-99 vehicles) receiving a 4% discount off the List price and larger fleets (100+ vehicles) getting 6% off.
