Major UK charging company Ohme is launching its residential EV charger range in Australia, with its ePod solution designed for local use.
Building on its success in the UK and Ireland, as one of the fastest-growing EV charging companies, Ohme is introducing the new ePod with ‘dynamic smart charging’ technology.
The technology connects with the national grid in real-time, automatically adjusting charging ato take advantage of off-peak tariffs. A smartphone app allows users to schedule charging, add a tariff and monitor energy use.
“Ohme’s unique technology and software has seen us enjoy rapid growth in the UK and Europe and we’re pleased to be able to introduce the ePod to EV drivers in Australia,” Ohme Australia Head of Sales, Reece Davis said.

Ohme is the official charger provider for the Volkswagen Group and Polestar in both the UK and Ireland as well as Mercedes-Benz and Hyundai in the UK and Volvo Cars in Ireland.
