Peugeot has slashed the price of its e-Partner electric van by more than $10,000, offering the model for $49,990 until June 30 in an end-of-financial-year sale.
The $49,990 drive-away price, compared with its usual price of $59,990 before on-road costs, offers serious savings for fleet or business buyers, in a move by the French brand that is similar to its dramatic run-out of the e-2008 – which it discounted by up to $25,000.
Peugeot’s e-Partner van is the smaller of its two commercial vehicle options, producing 100kW/260Nm from its front-mounted electric motor. A 50kWh battery offers a range of 245km.
Payload for the e-Partner ranges from 750kg to 1,000kg, depending on the layout, and it is built on Peugeot’s EMP-2 modular platform.
The e-Partner comes with a five-year, 20,000km warranty and five years of roadside assistance.
