Mazda Australia has revised pricing and standard equipment across its Large Architecture SUV line-up for 2026, covering the CX-60, CX-70, CX-80 and CX-90.
The changes include a simplified pricing structure, additional safety technology and new model variants, with Mazda aiming to make it easier for buyers to choose between petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
Petrol and diesel prices aligned
Under the new pricing structure, Mazda’s 3.3-litre inline-six petrol and diesel powertrains are now priced equally when matched with the same model grade.
The P50e plug-in hybrid, offered in the CX-60 and CX-80, is now priced $5,000 above the equivalent G40e petrol or D50e diesel variant.
Mazda says the changes give customers greater flexibility to select a powertrain based on their driving requirements rather than a significant difference in purchase price.
The CX-60 range now starts at $45,640 before on-road costs for the rear-wheel-drive G25 Pure, while all-wheel-drive six-cylinder Pure variants start at $51,640. The CX-60 P50e Pure is priced from $56,640.
New CX-80 diesel entry grade
Mazda has added a D50e diesel option to the entry-level CX-80 Pure grade.
The 3.3-litre inline-six diesel uses Mazda’s 48-volt M-Hybrid Boost system and is paired with all-wheel drive. It adds another entry point for buyers seeking the three-row capacity of the CX-80.
The CX-80 Pure is priced from $56,100 before on-road costs with either the G40e petrol or D50e diesel powertrain.
Plug-in hybrid versions of the CX-80 begin with the Touring grade, priced from $68,100.
Safety upgrades for CX-60 and CX-90
The CX-60 and CX-90 gain additional standard safety and connectivity equipment for 2026.
Front Cross Traffic Brake and Cruising Traffic Support with Driver Emergency Assist are now standard, while Mazda Connected Services has also been added. The connected services technology was already available in the CX-70 and CX-80.
The CX-60 and CX-90 also receive an updated exterior colour palette, with Polymetal Grey Metallic replacing Sonic Silver Metallic.
Darker styling for CX-90 GT
The Sports Appearance Package is now standard on CX-90 GT models.
The package replaces several chrome exterior details with black finishes, including the signature wing, bumper guard, mirror caps, window mouldings, roof rails and side badging.
It also adds 21-inch black alloy wheels.
Pricing for the CX-90 begins at $66,100 before on-road costs for the Touring grade with either the G50e petrol or D50e diesel powertrain. The GT is priced from $75,100, while the Azami range starts at $82,100.
Revised large SUV range now available
Mazda Australia Managing Director Vinesh Bhindi said the changes were intended to strengthen the value of the company’s premium SUV range.
“Our Large Architecture range already represents the very best of Mazda, combining Kodo design and exemplary craftsmanship with acclaimed Jinba Ittai driving dynamics,” Bhindi said.
“We’re now making the range even more compelling by increasing the value proposition and making each model more attainable than ever.”
