Chery Australia has confirmed its range-topping Tiggo 9 Super Hybrid will arrive in local dealerships this November, marking a bold move into the premium plug-in SUV market.
Priced from $59,990 (MSRP), the Tiggo 9 is a 7-seat luxury SUV with 170km electric range and 1,250km total driving range. It blends electric efficiency with a touch of luxury — offering features and comfort usually reserved for vehicles twice the price.

Under the sleek bodywork, the Tiggo 9 combines a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine with three electric motors (two front, one rear) to deliver a combined 315kW and 580Nm. The large 34kWh battery provides up to 170km of electric-only range (NEDC) and an impressive 1,250km combined driving range.
A Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (3DHT) manages the power flow seamlessly, while an electric motor on the rear axle ensures confident all-wheel drive performance.

Inside, Chery’s flagship SUV feels every bit the luxury tourer. The cabin includes:
