Zeekr, the premium EV brand from Geely Holding Group, has officially launched its new flagship SUV – the Zeekr 9X – setting a fresh benchmark in luxury and performance for new energy vehicles.
Big power, fast charging
Built on the SEA-S platform, the Zeekr 9X debuts a 900V high-voltage architecture and the SEA Super Hybrid system delivering up to 1,000 kW of output. That means a blistering 0–100 km/h sprint in 3.1 seconds – hypercar pace in a luxury SUV.
Despite the power, Zeekr claims a pure electric driving range of 380 km (CLTC), with ultra-fast charging from 20–80% in just 8.5 minutes. For fleets exploring electrification, the quick top-up times could reduce downtime for high-utilisation vehicles.
Ride and safety tech
The 9X features the Haohan AI Digital Chassis, integrating advanced air suspension, active roll control, and adaptive drive modes. It’s designed to balance highway comfort with rugged stability – appealing for both executive transport and long-distance business trips.
On safety, Zeekr is pushing boundaries with its Haohan Safety Armor. The SUV reportedly passed the world’s first four-way crash test at 105 km/h and adds clever protections like crosswind control, side-impact lift, and automatic obstacle avoidance.
Luxury interior focus
Inside, the 9X offers a three-row, six-seat layout with Cloud Lounge seating, a 17-inch OLED screen, and a premium 3,800W Naim audio system. An electric split tailgate rounds out the convenience features.
Market positioning
The Zeekr 9X was launched in China and while not yet confirmed for Australia, the model showcases Geely’s global ambitions and sets a new standard in EV performance and luxury.
