Polestar has confirmed pricing for the 2026 (MY26) Polestar 4, and the good news is — it hasn’t changed.
The Long range Single motor version remains at $78,500*, while the Dual motor variant stays at $88,350*. That price stability makes the sleek electric SUV coupé even more attractive for fleet buyers and novated drivers looking for premium EV performance without a price hike.
Subtle updates, smarter packaging
For MY26, Polestar has swapped out the previous model’s touch-sensitive steering controls for conventional buttons — a welcome move for anyone who prefers physical feedback behind the wheel.
Option pack pricing has also been tweaked, with reductions for the Bridge of Weir leather and electrochromic glass roof options. Meanwhile, the illuminated front logo, interior lighting upgrades, and boot net pockets have been rolled into the Plus pack, which still delivers standout value at $8000.
Performance and range
Both variants feature a 100 kWh battery, with the rear-wheel drive Single motor offering up to 620 km (WLTP), while the Dual motor provides 400 kW and a brisk 0–100 km/h sprint in just 3.8 seconds — with range up to 590 km.
A disconnect clutch allows the Dual motor version to decouple the front motor when cruising, improving efficiency. All models support up to 200 kW DC fast charging and 22 kW AC charging (when optioned).
Safety and sustainability
Built on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform, the Polestar 4 continues the brand’s focus on eco-friendly materials and circular design, achieving a cradle-to-gate carbon footprint as low as 20.3 tCO₂e.
Safety remains core to Polestar’s DNA, with the 4 earning a five-star ANCAP rating (based on Euro NCAP testing) and high scores across all categories — including 92 per cent for adult occupant protection.
Fleet appeal
With stable pricing, improved driver ergonomics, and premium efficiency, the Polestar 4 MY26 continues to hit the sweet spot for progressive fleet buyers transitioning to zero-emission vehicles. The brand’s use of over-the-air updates, built-in Google apps, and solid safety pedigree make it a low-maintenance, high-tech option for executive and novated fleets alike.
Manufacturer’s list price includes GST but excludes government charges, delivery fees, and on-road costs.
