Earlier this year the Fully Charged LIVE show rolled into Sydney to electrify the growing number of EV owners and potential converts. The live event has become a global hit based on the successful YouTube channel and on the opening day people were queued for over a kilometre to get in.
While there were a large number consumers in the audience, Fleet EV News helped the organisers to promote Fully Charged Business to Fleet Managers and according to David Potter from EV Automotive, it worked!
“We had a fantastic two days,” said Potter when we spoke after the event. “We took a deposit on the Sunday and have sold two more vehicles since.”
After some early success with Kings Transport, Ikea and Tasfast Airfreight, Potter feels that the momentum is building with more enquires each month.
“We’re building the first refrigerated electric van in Adelaide that will be delivered soon and we have sold several buses using the same Skywell EC11 platform. We have more vans coming and some new models (EC31 and EC35) as well which were on display at Fully Charged.”
“We’ll be back at Fully Charged next year but you can also see at the Brisbane Truck Show in Brisbane during May.”
