Craig Corrigan has been appointed as the Head of Corporate and Fleet Sales for BMW Group Australia, a strategically important division that contributes significantly to the company’s sales.
Craig brings extensive and diverse experience in leadership, business development and marketing roles across the rental, OEM, and fleet management sectors. Speaking about his new role, he said: “I’m honoured to take on this important position with the world’s and Australia’s leading premium automotive brand. Australia is the second largest market outside Germany for Government sales with BMW being a chosen brand for Police in New South Wales, Victoria, ACT, and Tasmania. I look forward to leading my team to further strengthen the BMW and MINI brands in this very important sector of our Australian business.”
This success has been driven in part by the brand’s electric vehicle line-up – the most offered by any manufacturer in Australia – with six of these priced below $91,387, making them exempt from both the Luxury Car Tax (LCT) for fuel-efficient vehicles and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) for fleet operators, and important for our customers who opt for a Novated Lease. These tax incentives align with the Federal Government’s efforts to accelerate electric vehicle adoption as part of its greenhouse gas emissions reduction efforts.
