Driivz has announced a partnership to power and scale the Duracell E-Charge ultra-fast electric vehicle charging network across the UK, supporting The EV Network as it expands sites operating under the globally recognised Duracell brand.
The partnership will see the Duracell E-Charge network use Driivz’s smart EV charging software platform to manage charging operations, billing, driver experience, roaming, reporting and analytics.
For charge point operators, the challenge is no longer just installing hardware. As networks expand, they need reliable software to manage uptime, pricing, billing, settlements and customer experience across multiple locations. Driivz said its platform helps remove common points of friction by providing robust session data, accurate billing and transparent settlements.
The platform also includes mature OCPI roaming capabilities, which The EV Network will use to increase network utilisation and support revenue growth.
Operating under the Duracell E-Charge brand also places a strong focus on reliability and driver confidence. Driivz will support the network with real-time monitoring, remote diagnostics and proactive issue resolution, helping operators identify and resolve faults quickly.
Mark Bloxham, Managing Director of The EV Network, said the Duracell E-Charge network was being developed around reliability, simple pricing and driver confidence.
“Duracell E-Charge is being built to set a new benchmark for ultra-fast charging in the UK. That means high uptime, simple pricing and a consistently reliable experience for drivers,” said Mark Bloxham, Managing Director of The EV Network.
“Driivz gives us the platform to scale quickly while maintaining control, performance and commercial efficiency as the network grows.”
Shiri Levi-Laor, CEO of Driivz, said scalable and reliable charging networks would play a central role in the future of mobility.
“Charging networks that can scale, while optimising their current operations to ensure seamless charging experiences for drivers now and in the years to come, are the networks that will lead the way in the future of mobility,” said Shiri Levi-Laor, CEO of Driivz.
“We’re proud to support the rollout of the Duracell E-Charge network across the UK.”
The Duracell E-Charge network will use Driivz’s EV charging operations management tools to monitor chargers, support remote issue resolution and use advanced algorithms for self-healing capabilities designed to maximise uptime and utilisation.
Driivz will also provide billing management through a configurable billing engine, allowing the network to support different commercial models and customer requirements as it grows.
For drivers, the white-label charging app and web portal will allow users to search for charging stations, navigate to a site, plug in, charge and pay. The platform will also provide access to charging history, detailed invoices, pricing information and cost breakdowns.
Reporting and analytics will give The EV Network access to operational insights and customised reports to support decision-making as the network expands.
The announcement highlights the increasing importance of software in the EV charging sector, particularly as ultra-fast charging networks scale and operators compete on reliability, transparency and ease of use rather than location alone.
