EV charging software provider Driivz has been selected to manage and optimise Iberdrola | bp pulse’s network of 2,500 fast and ultra-fast chargers across the Iberian Peninsula.
The partnership will give Iberdrola | bp pulse greater visibility across its charging network, including real-time information on charger availability, uptime, hardware performance and customer charging patterns.
Driivz said its software platform would provide an embedded analytics layer across the multi-vendor network, helping the charge point operator improve reliability, simplify operations and support future expansion.
Iberdrola | bp pulse serves private EV drivers, corporate fleets and customers across the hospitality, retail and workplace charging sectors.

“This migration is a strategic decision to build our operation on foundations that allow us to grow, innovate and deliver the reliability the Iberian market deserves,” Artes said.
“In a business where every charger is a revenue-generating asset, you can’t manage what you can’t measure.”
Artes said the partnership was expected to improve network reliability for drivers, increase operational efficiency and create a more intelligent grid asset for the wider energy system.
Driivz’s API-first architecture will also provide Iberdrola | bp pulse with the technical foundation for future services, including vehicle-to-grid technology and coordinated smart charging.
The platform includes dynamic energy management capabilities designed to help operators balance charging demand, available power and network capacity.
Driivz chief executive Shiri Levi-Laor said large charging networks increasingly required software platforms capable of managing multiple markets, hardware suppliers and customer groups.
“Networks of this complexity require a platform built around data and operational intelligence,” Levi-Laor said.
“Our proven scalability gives operators like Iberdrola | bp pulse the foundation to maximise uptime, simplify operations and grow to thousands of charge points without reinventing their technology stack.”
The agreement comes as EV charging operators place greater emphasis on charger reliability, utilisation and operational efficiency.
Driivz’s 2026 State of EV Charging Network Operators Report found 59 per cent of operators identified charger reliability and stability as the industry’s biggest challenge.
The same proportion ranked increased charger utilisation as the leading driver of profitability, while 67 per cent considered artificial intelligence very important or critical to future growth.
For fleet operators, the partnership highlights the increasing importance of software, data and charger uptime as public and workplace charging networks expand.
Reliable charging infrastructure is particularly important for fleets operating time-sensitive routes, where unavailable or poorly performing chargers can affect vehicle utilisation, scheduling and total operating costs.
