Geely Auto Australia will make its first appearance at the 2025 Australasian Fleet Education and Leadership Summit, hosted by the Australian Fleet Management Association (AfMA) in Sydney on May 20–21.
Attendees at the event will be among the first in Australia to get a hands-on experience with the Geely EX5, a mid-size electric SUV that’s been making waves with over 1,300 orders in just two months. The range-topping Inspire variant will be available for test drives at the Geely stand.
Geely Auto Australia CEO, Mr Lei Li, says the company sees strong potential in the fleet market. “Our presence at AfMA 2025 marks our exciting introduction to the Australasian fleet community,” he said. “We’re confident that the Geely EX5 will be a compelling choice for a wide range of fleet providers with its attractive blend of comfort, technology, and safety credentials.”
The EX5 features a full suite of safety tech and has already achieved a 5-star ANCAP safety rating, even from its entry-level Complete variant—features that are likely to appeal to fleet buyers focused on duty of care and total cost of ownership.
Geely’s debut comes as AfMA prepares for its biggest event yet, with over 800 fleet managers, OEM representatives, procurement officers, and government officials expected to attend at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse.
