GWM has announced a national ABN and fleet pricing structure for the new Cannon Alpha Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), aiming to attract more business and fleet buyers to its showroom floors. The move simplifies pricing for sole traders, small businesses, and fleet managers—key buyers in Australia’s competitive ute market.
Under the new program, eligible ABN holders can access national driveaway pricing starting from $60,490 for the Lux variant and $67,490 for the Ultra. This represents a saving of up to $4,100 depending on the buyer’s location, compared to the standard state-based pricing that begins at $61,490 driveaway.
According to John Kett, Chief Operating Officer of GWM ANZ, the updated pricing strategy signals a clear commitment to business and fleet buyers. “This move sends a clear message to ABN and fleet buyers – GWM is open for business,” said Kett. “We’re committed to delivering not only class-leading vehicles, but also strong value and real-world affordability for Australian businesses and fleet operators looking for efficient, capable transport solutions.”
GWM has also introduced a revised fleet classification system, which now includes General, National, and Premium Fleet categories indexed by volume, alongside a separate Rental fleet category. This tiered approach aims to provide tailored pricing and support for organisations of varying sizes and operational needs.
The Cannon Alpha PHEV brings a strong spec sheet to the fleet market. Highlights include:
- Best-in-class 115km EV-only range
- A total combined range of 1,060km
- 3,500kg braked towing capacity
- Mechanical torque on demand and full 4×4 capability
- A 5-star ANCAP safety rating
- 7-year warranty, 7-year capped price servicing, and 7-year roadside assistance
With a focus on capability and emissions reduction, the Cannon Alpha PHEV offers a genuine alternative for fleet buyers looking to trial electrification without compromising on utility.
