Farizon has expanded its Australian commercial vehicle range with the launch of the F3E, a purpose-built electric cab chassis aimed at urban delivery, light freight, trade and service fleets.
Distributed locally by Jameel Motors Australia, the F3E will be offered in cab chassis, tray and cargo box configurations, giving operators greater flexibility to match the vehicle to different business applications.
Positioned between a conventional van and a light truck, the F3E is designed to provide a practical entry point for fleets seeking an electric vehicle with meaningful payload capacity and body configuration options.
The vehicle is powered by a 72.8kWh CATL lithium iron phosphate battery and offers a claimed driving range of up to 314km under the WLTP test cycle. Depending on the configuration, payload capacity reaches up to 1,705kg.
Charging capability includes 100kW DC fast charging and 11kW AC charging, potentially allowing the vehicle to support predictable depot-based operations as well as opportunity charging during the working day.
Country General Manager of Jameel Motors Australia, Adam Lawson, said businesses were increasingly looking for electric commercial vehicles that could be introduced without disrupting established operating practices.
“Businesses are increasingly looking for electric commercial vehicles that integrate naturally into existing operations while still delivering the capability and usability they rely on every day,” Lawson said.
“The flexibility of the F3E range allows operators to select a configuration suited to their specific business needs, while still benefiting from the efficiency, lower operating complexity and everyday practicality of a purpose-built electric vehicle.”
Inside, the F3E includes a 12.3-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a reversing camera and a range of driver assistance systems.
The arrival of the F3E follows the recently announced Farizon V7E electric van, broadening the brand’s coverage of the Australian electric commercial vehicle market.
While the V7E is aimed at conventional van applications, the F3E’s cab chassis architecture opens opportunities for customised bodies and equipment, which could make it relevant to councils, utilities, maintenance fleets, last-mile delivery operators and trades.
Pricing starts at $48,990 before on-road costs for the cab chassis. The tray is priced from $50,990, while the cargo box version starts at $53,490.
Farizon is the electric commercial vehicle division of Geely Holding Group and is focused on purpose-built vehicles for logistics, delivery and commercial transport.
