Leapmotor Australia has added a new Dawn Purple exterior finish to its C10 AWD Sports+ Special Edition.
The latest release retains the dual-motor powertrain delivering 440kW and 720Nm, alongside an 81.9kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery and a claimed driving range of up to 437km on the WLTP combined cycle.
For fleet and novated lease buyers considering the C10, the announcement brings another styling option to the flagship variant, backed by a defined servicing schedule and ownership support package.
“Since arriving in Australia, the C10 has earned strong recognition for its combination of technology, design and value,” said Andy Hoang, Head of Leapmotor Australia.
“The AWD Sports+ Special Edition builds on that success by adding greater exclusivity and visual differentiation while retaining the exceptional performance and everyday practicality that customers love about the Leapmotor C10.”
Dual motors and fast charging
The C10 AWD Sports+ uses Leapmotor’s Intelligent AWD Control system, which continuously adjusts output between the front and rear motors to optimise traction, stability and efficiency.
Its 800V electrical architecture supports DC charging at up to 180kW. Leapmotor quotes approximately 22 minutes to charge the battery from 30 to 80 per cent under suitable conditions.
The 437km WLTP range provides a comparison point for buyers assessing vehicle suitability, although actual range will vary with driving style, route, weather, load and operating conditions. Charging times will also depend on the charger and battery conditions.
Three colour combinations
Dawn Purple joins Pearl White and Metallic Black in the Sports+ Special Edition range.
The purple and black finishes are paired with grey Sports+ side decals, while the white version receives black decals. Other distinguishing features include Sports+ rear badging, interior mats with red contrast stitching and an embroidered cargo mat.
Standard equipment includes 20-inch alloy wheels, a fixed panoramic glass roof with an electric sunshade, heated and ventilated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.
Inside, drivers get a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging and a 12-speaker surround sound system.
The equipment list also includes LEAP Pilot Level 2 driver assistance systems, a 360-degree camera with dynamic guidelines, an integrated 360-degree dashcam recorder, connected services and over-the-air software updates.
Ownership support
The C10 AWD Sports+ Special Edition carries a six-year/150,000km vehicle warranty and an eight-year/160,000km high-voltage battery warranty, with the time or kilometre limit applying, whichever comes first.
Leapmotor also provides eight years of roadside assistance and eight years of capped-price servicing. Scheduled service intervals are every 12 months or 20,000km, whichever comes first.
For fleet buyers, those intervals and kilometre limits are relevant when comparing maintenance requirements and warranty coverage against anticipated utilisation.
