KGM Australia has officially revealed the Musso EV, its first fully electric ute — and one of the most compelling new entrants in Australia’s fast-evolving EV market. Set to go on sale from 1 December 2025, the Musso EV blends practicality, lifestyle versatility and an impressive equipment list, all built on the Musso legacy as Korea’s first recreational pickup.
Priced from $60,000 drive-away, the Musso EV launches in three variants:
- Musso EV 2WD – $60,000
- Musso EV Black Edge (2WD) – $62,000
- Musso EV AWD – $64,000
These prices put it squarely in the mix for fleets, novated lease buyers and private drivers looking for a zero-emission ute without stepping into premium territory.
Bold New EV Design With Musso DNA
KGM has carried over its design theme of “Powered by toughness”, giving the Musso EV modern electric styling without losing the muscular look ute buyers expect. A sculptured bonnet, dot-pattern LED daytime running lights, 3D grille and silver skid plate create a strong EV identity at the front. The side profile integrates the cabin and tub with strong character lines, highlighted by the signature “Rhino” emblem on the C-pillar — a nod to Musso heritage.
At the rear, a debossed KGM tailgate, corner steps and LED combination lamps complete the look.
A Premium Cabin With SUV Comfort
Inside, the Musso EV adopts a sleek Slim & Wide concept featuring:
- 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster
- 12.3-inch infotainment screen
- KGM’s new Athena 2.0 interface
- Heated and ventilated front seats
- Heated outer rear seats
- Ambient interior lighting
Rear passengers enjoy outstanding space for a dual-cab ute, with reclining 60/40 seats, generous legroom and 1,002 mm of headroom. The rear seat bench slides up to 80 mm — uncommon in this segment — adding SUV-like flexibility.
EV Performance: Range, Power and Charging
The Musso EV uses an 80.6 kWh LFP blade battery, known for durability and heat resistance. The battery is built with Cell-to-Cell technology for improved energy density.
