Fleet News Group has partnered with the Fully Charged Show to bring the dedicated B2B Day to life at Everything Electric Sydney in September.
The partnership represents years of collaboration between the two organisations and recognises that Australian fleets have reached a tipping point. Electrification and sustainability are no longer optional initiatives — they are becoming essential components of mature fleet management practices.
The B2B Day will be held on Friday, 18 September 2026, giving fleet managers, fleet operators and business buyers early access to the show and a dedicated programme focused on the practical transition to low- and zero-emission vehicles.
Fleet News Group is developing the speaking programme in collaboration with the Fully Charged Show team to ensure the content addresses the real challenges facing organisations as they plan, fund and execute their fleet transition.
The programme will examine more than electric passenger vehicles. It will cover the growing range of electric cars, light commercial vehicles, trucks, mobile plant and supporting infrastructure available to Australian fleets.
A major highlight will be a series of case studies presented by finalists in the 2026 Fleet News Group Fleet Sustainability Award. These organisations will share the policies, data, infrastructure, stakeholder engagement and operational changes being used to reduce fleet emissions and work towards organisational sustainability targets.
Rather than focusing only on future ambitions, the sessions will explore what fleets are doing now, the barriers they have encountered and the measurable results being achieved.
Panel discussions will also bring together suppliers that are helping fleets transition to electric cars, trucks and plant. Topics will include charging infrastructure, energy management, vehicle selection, financing, whole-of-life costs, telematics, operational planning and driver engagement.
Vehicle manufacturers will be represented throughout the programme, with finalists from the Fleet News Group Fleet Car of the Year Awards discussing how they are changing their product mix and working with fleet customers to reduce emissions and progress towards net zero targets.
For fleet buyers, the B2B Day will provide an opportunity to hear directly from other fleet professionals, examine new vehicles and technology, and connect with the suppliers delivering the products and services required to support the transition.
The partnership builds on years of collaboration between Fleet News Group and the Fully Charged Show, including an exclusive interview conducted at Everything Electric Sydney in March.
As sustainability becomes embedded in fleet strategy, procurement and asset management, the B2B Day will provide practical information for organisations at every stage of the transition — from those developing their first fleet emissions plan to those already operating electric vehicles and preparing for the next phase of implementation.
