Leapmotor Australia has rolled out its latest complimentary over-the-air (OTA) software update for the C10, delivering new features that enhance safety, comfort, and connectivity across both Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and Range-Extender Electric Vehicle (REEV) models.
Available to customers since 19 September, the update brings a suite of intelligent upgrades that continue Leapmotor’s commitment to innovation and user-focused mobility.
360° Dashcam Integration
The C10’s existing surround-view cameras now double as a dashcam system, recording footage directly to a USB while the vehicle is running. It’s an integrated solution that adds safety and convenience without requiring third-party hardware.
Smarter ADAS and Driver Memory Functions
The update refines key Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Drivers can now operate most ADAS switches in any gear, with improvements to Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Centering Control (LCC), and Lane Keeping Assist (LKA). Alert sounds have been softened and shortened, while attention and drowsiness warnings now display neatly in the cluster.
A new combined memory setting lets drivers save preferred ADAS and driving mode presets — easily recalled via a customisable steering wheel button.
Enhanced Connectivity and Entertainment
Two major new connectivity features headline the update:
- QDLink: Enables screen projection from Android devices directly to the infotainment display, bringing your phone’s functionality into the vehicle with minimal setup.
- Radioline: Adds access to thousands of live radio stations globally, from local news to international hits.
Upgraded Navigation and User Interface
Navigation has been refined with an “avoid tolls” option, improved 3D route views, and clearer address details when sending locations from mobile devices. More languages are supported, and voice recognition can now search by song or artist name. The user interface also adds quick controls for passenger climate and mirror heating.
Digital Key Sharing
The Leapmotor app now supports Bluetooth® key sharing, allowing owners to grant vehicle access to family or friends with Leapmotor accounts. Shared users can unlock, precondition the cabin, locate the vehicle, and check energy data — temporarily or permanently.
Continuous Innovation
Leapmotor Australia says the update underscores its focus on delivering intelligent, user-centric enhancements to elevate the ownership experience.
With every OTA release, the C10 becomes more than just a vehicle — it’s a continually evolving platform designed to make electric driving smarter, safer, and more connected.
