GWM has broadened its popular mid-size SUV line-up with two new electrified variants of the Haval H6, giving Australian buyers more choice in affordable hybrid and plug-in hybrid motoring.
From mid-September 2025, customers will be able to choose from:
- Haval H6 Lux 2WD Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) – from $44,990 driveaway
- Haval H6 Ultra AWD Hybrid (HEV) – from $47,490 driveaway
The new Lux PHEV creates an attractive entry point for those looking to step into plug-in hybrid technology, while the Ultra AWD Hybrid introduces GWM’s innovative Hi4 Intelligent Hybrid 4WD system, blending petrol and electric power across both axles. The result is instant torque, improved efficiency, and confident all-terrain traction.

The expanded Haval H6 line-up now includes petrol, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid options:
- Lux: 2.0L petrol 2WD ($35,990), hybrid 2WD ($40,990), PHEV 2WD ($44,990)
- Ultra: 2.0L petrol 2WD ($38,990), hybrid 2WD ($43,990), new hybrid AWD ($47,490), PHEV 2WD ($47,990), PHEV AWD ($50,990)

The Haval H6 Lux grade comes equipped with 19-inch alloys, LED lighting, Comfort Tek leather seats, a 14.6-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a full suite of safety features including seven airbags, adaptive cruise control, and a 360° surround view camera.
Stepping up to the H6 Ultra adds premium touches such as a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, head-up display, heated steering wheel, and advanced driver assistance including auto parking assist and front parking sensors.
